You state that the Nazis used the guillotine extensively, but it was only used on convicted criminals and not political opponents. You go on to say that the exception was the 6 members of the White Rose society who were all executed on February 22nd 1943.
Only 3 members were executed on this date. Sophie and Hans Scholl and Christoph Probst. The other 3 were executed in April and July. The remainder either received prison sentences or were acquited.
