Ahhh. I sigh because my heart felt like Burr was a progressive and I like the fact he went for Texas on his own when folks didn’t want to stir up trouble with the Spanish government. You gave me what Gore Vidal never had to give me, the freedom to show facts and events unbiased. Thank you for freeing my heart to embrace this man in his time. A hero is he! My 11th great-grandmother is Elizabeth Burr Hull, sister to her brother, the Rev. Aaron Burr, father of Col. Aaron Burr Jr.
