I should like to draw your attention to the fact since I criticized your article on Chief Obafemi Awolowo in which you had portrayed him as a Yoruba tribal chieftain, patrician and aristocrat, you have made no attempt to remedy these profound deficiencies.Instead, you have taken the article offline indefinitely.I am suggesting that the article be corrected and reinstated.Your current article on Ahmadu Bello also smacks of sentiments in many places, for instance, where you have referred to him as a strong advocate of federalism in Nigeria, rather than simply an advocate of Northern Nigerian autonomy and regionalism.I would like you to learn from the example of Britannica and similar encyclopedias on how to write rigorous and neutral articles.Let me conclude by making the complaint that you seem to have no article on Nnamdi Azikiwe, which would be a serious act of omission.Thanks.
Thank you, Oluwagbemi, for your feedback.
However, I am quite puzzled by your comments. The article on Obafemi Awolowo is not offline; it is live and can be found by searching for his name “Obafemi Awolowo” in the search box. Also, your “criticism” of the Obafemi Awolowo article (which can be seen on the Feedback tab of that article) was not clear. It merely stated that you “have discovered some inaccuracies in your article, for instance, those relating to the Yoruba ancestor,Oduduwa.” I suggested that you give more details of the revisions you think necessary on the page or by email. I did not receive either. Some revisions have been made to the article since that time; possibly they answer your criticism. The article has remained live at all times.
Also, your “complaint” that there is no article on Nnamdi Azikiwe is mystifying. Please enter his name in the search box and you will immediately find the article. It has been live since 2008.
I will review the article on Ahmadu Bello, based on your comment. Unfortunately I could not find an article in Encyclopedia Britannica on him to read in order to better understand your complaint.
Thank you again for taking the time to comment. I hope that you are able to find our articles. I assure you that they are currently live on our site.
