In the weapons section, you mention that a jo is five inches long. A jo is actually the longest of the “big three” of aikido weapons (bokken, jo, and tanto) and is much longer than that – about 50 to 56 inches on average.

Thank you for your comment. You are correct, and it appears that the article mistakenly listed the jo as approximately five instead of fifty inches in length. The text has been corrected.
