This article appears to claim that there are 47 million baptists in the U.S. in one place, 47 million outside the U.S. in another, and again that there are 47 million worldwide. It needs to be edited. I believe the 47 worldwide is the accurate or commonly estimated figure with the majority of those residing in the United States.
