”Battle of Kosovo (Serbian Cyrillic: КоÑовÑки бој or Бој на КоÑову was fought on St Vitus’ Day (June 15, now celebrated on June 28) 1389 between the coalition of Serb lords and the Ottoman Empire.” It is wrong. It is fought by a christian force against the Ottoman Empire not Serb lords. The leader or commander of the christian force was serb though.
Thank you, Edwin, for your feedback. The battle was fought between Christian Serbs on the one hand and the Islamic Ottoman Empire on the other. Therefore, it is not wrong to say that the Serb lords fought the Ottoman Empire. Equally it is correct to say that the Christian army led by Serbians faced the Muslim Turks on the battlefield. The text will be revised to clarify this. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and help make NWE a valuable informational resource.
