Thank you, David, for your feedback. The status of “The Wisdom of Ben Sira” is not simple. As stated in the introduction to our article, “it was not accepted into the Jewish biblical canon … it is included in the Septuagint and is accepted as part of the biblical canon by Catholics and Eastern Orthodox, but not by most Protestants.” The article will be revised to clarify its status.
