Love the page, especially the magnificent William Blake protrait. Thank you for the information. I majored in religion when i was an undergrad at U of M, but for some reason i did not know what “demiurge” was so thanks for this.
You need to correct one factual error in your piece (that i noticed, anyways)…”This Demiurge, fearing lest Jesus—whom he had intended as his Messiah of wrath—should spread the knowledge of the Supreme God, had him crucified by the Jews.” As any student of religion or history knows, Jesus was crucified on orders of Pontius Pilate, who was a prefect of Tiberius. a Roman. This decision was all his, regardless of any influence or anger the Jewiash businessmen of the time may have had at Jesus for the interruption of their business dealings in the temple. This misinformation lends an antisemitic feel to your page, and is rather ruinious to the seriousness of the rest of the piece.

Thank you for your feedback. Indeed, the crucifixion of Jesus was carried out by the Romans, the Jews having no authority to do so. The sentence has been revised to avoid misunderstanding.
