Given the advances of the last two decade of research in neuropsychology, I find it quaint that your article on Donald Hebb asserts “The complexity of human thought and behavior is based on internal aspects, namely the mind and spirit.”
Apparently your authors and editors still believe that “spirit” and “mind” are something different from a manifestation of the physical apparatus of the brain – what Jeff Hawkins refers to as “Special Sauce?”
Please, get familiar with the recent neuropsychology literature.
Thank you for taking the time to comment on this article. You are correct that merely stating that the human mind and spirit are more than a manifestation of the physical brain is not sufficient. However, this article on Donald Hebb is not the place to expand on the discussion. Therefore I have removed that statement.
