I have a book, “The Children of the the Cave”, author Edward H. Thompson, 1929, Marshall Jones Company, Boston, Massachusetts. In the Forward, it states that “Edward Herbert Thompson was born in Worcester County, Massachusetts, September 28, 1860….” and, in the Introduction, it states, “The illustrator, Abby May Thompson is the youngest daughter of the author.”

It is important to correct the title of the book about Edward H. Thompson by T.A. Willard. It is currently listed as “The City of the Sacred Spell”. It should be corrected to read: “The City of the Sacred Well” which is the correct title.
I found the information very comprehensive in spite of a few differences with other information I had already found. Very well written. Like the individual who made the last entry, I have found that Edward Thompson was born in Worcester County, Massachusetts in 1860 and note that other information indicates he died in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
