In the beginning of the article, it says “A later work, The Little Princess, is the story of a little girl living in an English boarding school, who believes she is an orphan, but in the end finds her father, lost at war, and meets Queen Victoria.”
This is incorrect. That is how the film adaptation staring Shirley Temple ends. In fact, in the book, Sara Crewe is an orphan and is found by the friend that her father that was involved in the diamond mines with and she never met Queen Victoria.
Thank you for your feedback. You are quite correct about the differences between the book and the film version. The text of the article has been revised. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and make NWE a valuable informational resource.
