Gamma Sigma Fraternity was the first high school fraternity. Formed at The Brockport Normal School on October 11, 1869 in Brockport New York. It was also the first to charter internationally when Alpha Zeta chapter started in December of 1927 at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada
