in the Leningrad codex is used the word mlak = messenger for both cases, but was translated as “angel” later on.
Same thing for Adam (adm) is used everywhere for “man” except in genesis. Eve is used everywhere as “Life”

Thank you, Cryss, for your comment. One of the roles of the angels was to act as messengers, thus the translations may use “messenger” or “angel.” Similarly, “Adam” often represents “man” in general, not just the particular person.
