your account of the battle at Gob is incorrect. It clearly says that it is the BROTHER of Goliath that is killed at Gob by Elhanan, not Goliath himself.

As stated in the article, in many translations (such as the New International Version, English Standard Version, New American Standard Bible, American Standard Version) the account in 2 Samuel 21:19 describes the death of Goliath at Gob. In the King James version, however, it states that Elhanan slew the brother of Goliath, as stated in 1 Chronicles 20:4-8, which the article points out may have been revised to avoid the inconsistency between this account and the story of the death of Goliath at the hands of David.
Thus, the text in the article is correct in presenting an alternate version of the death of Goliath at the hands on someone other than David.
