Hi, New World Encyclopedia,
On the Christianity section of this article, it says that the predominant Christian view is of an eternal hell, from which escape is almost impossible. That “almost” needs to be taken off since most Christians view escape from hell is actually impossible. I know, minor error, but I don’t know how you made it since I didn’t see it on the wikipedia page that you cited.

Thank you “Dallas705” for your comment. Indeed the “almost” does not belong in that sentence, the predominant and traditional Christian view of hell being eternal. The text was attempting to articulate the modified view of eternal damnation, namely that it is possible to leave hell through repentance. The article will be revised to better express this point. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and to help make NWE a valuable information resource.
