John Calvin’s wife was a daughter of Lewis Jaqueman of Orleans, France.

Look at the footnotes of the 18 April 1579 will of William Whitingham, minister and Deane of the Cathedral Church of Durham, England.
Whitingham, who spent time in France, married Catherine Jaqueman, also a daughter of Lewis and she inherited her father’s property in France.
