Dear friends,
It is a mistake to say that Marjorie Rawlings’ civil rights outlook was affected by Indira Gandhi. In fact, it was not Gandhi, but rather her aunt, Mme. Vijaya Pandit, whom Marjorie met.
If you replaced the reference to Indira Gandhi with the name of Pearl Primus, you would improve the quality of the entry.
