A focus on national power (military) was a key feature of mercantilism; the article misses that. See for example http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/Mercantilism.html

Thank you, James, for your feedback. Actually the article does include military power as a feature of mercantilism: “Mercantilists advocated the use of the state’s military power to ensure local markets and supply sources were protected.” Perhaps that could be elaborated and expanded.
