Just to let you know, as a scholar it looks a little cheesy to have a line in a section titled “Meteorites in History” that is neither historical or referenced: “Another theory is that the island of Manhattan, part of New York City, was formed by a huge meteorite that fell prior to the supercontinent Pangea splitting apart to eventually form the present age’s continents.” Does anyone know anything about this “theory?”
