There is a mistake in the following dates as quoted:
“Using Bishop James Ussher’s Bible chronology from the creation to Nebuchadnezzar II, the following dates are proposed relating to Methuselah:[1]
4004 B.C.E.—Creation
3317 B.C.E.—Birth of Methuselah
3000 B.C.E.—Approximate building of the Great Pyramids of Giza
2348 B.C.E.—Death of Methuselah and Noah’s flood”
Bishop James Ussher’s Bible chronology does not put the building of the Great Pyramids of Giza before the flood. Please, refer to the Annuals of the World by Bishop James Ussher. Even so, the flood destroyed the face of the earth, the fountains of the deep broke forth and if the pyramids had been built prior to the flood we would not see them today.
Thank you, Dorena, for your feedback. That error in the chronology has been corrected.
