Your article states the BOSAWAS is the second largest Biosphere Reserve north of the Amazon. Isn’t it, in fact, the largest Biosphere Reserve north of the Amazon?

The photo on this entry of Daniel Ortega and Fidel Castro should be accredited to the year 1985, not 1980. I believe it was taken at Ortega’s inauguration with possibly Neil Kinnock behind them.

Thank you, Gary, for your comment. Yes, indeed, the Bosawas Bioreserve is the second largest in the Western hemisphere, and the largest north of the Amazon rainforest. The text in the article has been revised to correct this.
