Surely, under “modern influences”, you should at least mention the Marvel Comics character “Thor”. At least during the period when it was written by Walt Simonson, the title used many aspects of Norse mythology.

Thank you, John, for your comment. Comic book characters are already mentioned in general in the “modern influences” section. Still, your point is well taken that Thor features quite prominently. The text will be revised to add the Marvel Comics character.
