Hi, you state that the inventory stela says that khufu discovered the damaged buried sphinx and attempted to excavate and restore it. Then right after you try to say that that part of the stela is not believed because it points to khufu building it. So first you say discovered then you say built, which one?

Thank you for your feedback. The date of construction of the Sphinx has been a matter of debate, with conflicting opinions based on the various pieces of evidence. You were correct that the description of the Inventory Stela and its contribution to this debate was unclear. I have revised the text to remove that confusion. Thank you for noticing that!
