Hi folks, sorry to say but on the ‘Go Johnny Go’ film Ritchie is not playing Eddie Cochran’s guitar, Cochran’s is a Gretsch 6120 Country model and Ritchie’s is certainly not. Several differences; mainly different colour scratchplate, different pick-ups and Eddie’s has a switch on the top lobe. Looks like it could be a different Gretsch model though; difficult to tell with such a fuzzy pic of the film on Youtube. Eddie only ever played the Gretsch 6120, and as far as we all know was the only Gretsch guitar he owned.
