The article claims Rome is the foundation of Christianity!
That is a lie as Rome and Roman Catholicism is entirely pagan and given to the worship of the ancient Middle eastern god Ishtar and Tammuz.

Thank you, Rose, for your feedback.
I do not see where in the article it states that Rome is the foundation of Christianity.
What it does say is “Along with its central place in the history of the Roman Empire, Rome has a significant place in the history of Christianity” which surely is inarguable.
It quotes the UNESCO World Heritage site as saying “Rome has also been directly associated with the history of the Christian faith.” Again inarguable.
Finally, it says that Rome “is still the heart of Christianity, being seat of the Roman Catholic Church which controls the Vatican City.”
The heart is not the same as the foundation. Naturally it is understood that Jesus was not Roman but a Jew from Nazareth, making the foundation of Christianity in the Middle East. And indeed Rome persecuted Christians for several hundred years. Nevertheless, Rome was instrumental in spreading Christianity throughout its empire, which covered a significant area of the world at that time.
Regardless of whether you accept Roman Catholic teachings, the article on Rome is correct to include the significant role of the Roman Empire in the legalization of Christianity and its spread throughout much of the world at the time.
