Would like to point out that Bernadette did indeed partake of the spring water @ Lourdes, however, her asthma remained with her until her death it was not cured. Although the 1943 film Song of Bernadette won an Oscar it was “Hollywood made” and contained fictional depictions, what should be added if the 1989 film Bernadette starring Sydney Penny, which has played every day in Lourdes for over 20 years and is historically accurate.
