Yesenin was murdered by Cheka agents under direct orders from Lev Trotski by publishing a poem called “The Land of Crooks” in Latin characters. The agents were suposed to take him to prison but he was young and fought for his life. To hide the murder 3 Cheka agents hung him and the official version claimed for suicide. Documents found after the fall of soviet union prove that he was murdered.
