I am desperately searching for published data or a professional biologist who will confirm the assertion in your entry that “sperm whale size has declined significantly” – presumably an evolutionary response to selective hunting by humans. Can you provide either a contact or a citation?

The reason is, I am working on a non-majors biology textbook (under contract to Oxford UP), and would like to use this in the chapter introducing evolution.
