The Beaufort Range is in fact a small subrange of the Vancouver Island Ranges. The Beauforts run down the southeast coast of the island between Comox Lake in the north, and Horne Lake in the south. Your article states that The Golden Hinde is part of the Beauforts, which it is not. The main range on the island, of which all the others are subranges (including the Beaufort Range), is the Vancouver Island Ranges.
