Excellent 1990 movie by Robert Altman, Vincent & Theo, about the needy relationship between the two. With, Tim Roth & Paul Rhys realistically filmed in the locations of the paintings.

Hans Kaufmann and Rita Wildegan beg to differ with this articles account of what happened to Vincents Ear and also his madness.

Most of the Mad Artists are from Europe, I think artists examine nature better than any ordinary man. Vincent van Gogh is one of them
