Clarify. Wool allergies are “considered” rare, and no, it isn’t just because of coarseness. I have a sensitivity to it, period. Rash, difficulty breathing. Doesn’t matter what type of wool including but not limited to New Zealand wood. Please be more accurate in your “encyclopedia” as there are very specific definitions regarding allergic reactions above and beyond skin irritation. I am speaking as someone who ended up with a doctor’s visit thanks to a New Zealand wool mattress cover.
